For finding higher quality clients, I would definitely avoid the freelancing platforms (eg fivver, upwork) and focus on meeting prospective clients face to face. That way, you can quickly tell who is going to be a good or high value client (and understand the value you I bring) compared to those that won’t.
You may have to start with smaller projects that focus on a particular area of marketing. Once you prove the value you bring in that area, the client will recognise that and you can expand to other areas, increasing your fee in the process. That way, you start with a small client but grow them into a valuable, high-paying client.
